Trials in transvaginal mesh lawsuits
against three manufacturers will begin in December 2013, and a trial
against a fourth manufacturer is scheduled for February 2013.

Trials of transvaginal mesh lawsuits
against three major mesh manufacturers will begin Dec. 3, 2013, in the
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia,
according to a report detailing the decisions made at a Dec. 6 status
conference.
The report shows that the West Virginia
federal court scheduled as the first trial one of the cases consolidated
in In re: American Medical Systems, Inc., Pelvic Repair System Products
Liability Litigation (MDL No. 2325). This will be followed by trials of
cases in In re: Ethicon, Inc., Pelvic Repair Systems Products Liability
Litigation (MDL No. 2327) and In re: Boston Scientific Corp., Pelvic
Repair Systems Products Liability Litigation (MDL No. 2326).
